On May 26, 2009, MovingCities collaborated with Shannon Bassett and five of her students from the School of Architecture and Community Design, University of South Florida in Tampa, at the crossboundaries studio in Beijing. Conducting field research the day before (part 1 and 2), we focused on the Longze area and started the design workshop which consisted of an analysis of the place, programmatic intentions and main scale of intervention(s).
