ORDOS100 held its second meeting. Between April 11 and April 16, 100 international architecture offices came to Ordos, in Inner Mongolia. movingcities attended this event, trying to grasp diversity, variety and similarity. An impression of the opening evening.
Embassy of Belgium | April 10, 2008 The Embassy of Belgium in China hosts a lecture organized by Bert de Muynck | movingcities. The lecture will feature two Belgian offices and one Mexican (with a Belgian co-founder) that work within the context of the ORDOS100-project. Lecture in English and starts at 6.30 pm. Please RSVP.
Last weekend, January 25-27, Bert de Muynck | movingcities was invited by FAKE Design to attend the opening ceremony and start of the first phase of ORDOS100. 100 architects from 29 different countries and areas from Europe, America, Asia and Africa are invited to design a villa or public building with a floor area of 1,000 square meters.
