Stockholm snapshots | part II

Following up on the first series of Stockholm snapshots, we walked from the Northern part of the city (Norrmalm) to the East (Ostermalm) and then via the quays back to the center in the direction of Stockholms emblematic City Hall, designed by the architect Ragnar Östberg, and opened on Midsummer Eve in 1923. On our way we also spotted one of Stockholms most intriguing urban subcultures, which one could call urban knitting. For more information on this check out Knit Graffiti Around Sweden and the fantastic Masquerade-website which is keeping track of the most recent knitting contributions to the city.
